NGL Labs LLC (“NGL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this notice to explain your right to opt out of the “sale” and “sharing” of your personal information and how to exercise it. It supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to the NGL app, our websites (https://ngl.link/ and https://nglapp.com ), and our other sites and services (the “Services”).
Your right to opt out
You have the right to tell us not to sell or share your personal information. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA), “sale” generally means disclosing personal information to a third party for money or other valuable consideration, and “sharing” generally means disclosing it to a third party for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. You may exercise this right at any time.
What we sell or share
We do not sell or share personal information except in the following ways:
Smart Recognition. On certain pages of our website, information about your browser, device, and online activity (identifiers, internet or network activity, and approximate location) is disclosed to Smart Recognition, an identity resolution service. It uses that information to identify an email address associated with you and gives the address to us so we can send marketing communications about the Services.
Rokt. When an offer placement loads in the Services, we disclose information to Rokt Inc. that may include your email address, device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and information about your transaction (identifiers, commercial information, and approximate location). Rokt uses it to select and present offers from its network of advertisers.
Optional rewards and data-sharing programs. If you choose to participate in one of NGL’s or Mode’s optional programs, the categories of data you elect to share (such as app usage, browsing, or location data) may be disclosed to Mode Mobile, Inc. and Mode’s program partners in exchange for points, cash, or other compensation to you.
We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age. Our Services are not intended for individuals under 18.
How to opt out
Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC). GPC is a browser setting or extension that tells websites you do not want your personal information sold or shared. We honor it automatically. See below.

For optional rewards or data-sharing programs, decline or withdraw from the program in your account or app settings, or contact us as described above.
You do not need to create an account or provide documents to opt out, and we will not ask you to verify your identity to process an opt-out request. If you contact us by email, we may ask for limited information, such as the email address associated with your browser or device, only so we can locate and apply your request.
Global Privacy Control
When we receive a GPC signal from your browser or device, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for that browser or device, and for any account or profile we can associate with it. This includes not using Smart Recognition to identify you. You do not need to take any other step. To learn more about GPC, visit https://globalprivacycontrol.org/.
What happens after you opt out
We will process your request as soon as feasibly possible, and no later than 15 business days after we receive it. We will also notify the third parties to which we sold or shared your personal information after you submitted your request and before we processed it, and direct them to stop selling or sharing it. After you opt out, we will wait at least 12 months before asking you to opt back in.
Opting out does not stop our other uses of your personal information described in our Privacy Policy, such as providing the Services. If you withdraw from an optional rewards or data-sharing program, you will stop receiving compensation for data you no longer share, and the Services will remain fully usable. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercise your right to opt out.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to confirm their identity and authority.
Residents of other states
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have the right to opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. The methods above are available to you, and we honor GPC as a valid request under those laws.
